Today the fifth generation runds the bakery in the neighbour-house. The holiday home has a nice terrace and is placed not far from the sea. At the same time it is a short distance to both shops and restaurant. The berth is located not far from the holiday home. In the summer it is a lot of people in Skånevik. There it is free bike rental, great hiking trails in the mountains, nice beach (Peparen), speedboat to Bergen, ball courts and playgrounds. It is also possible to fish from land in the center of Skånevik or take the boat out on the sea. For longer trips from the holiday home, it is recommended to visit Bergen, Haugesund and Karmøy, or take the boat to Kvinnherad to experience Baroniet Rosendal.
