3 Bedroom House in Harwich

Our house is ideally located in Harwich between Harwichport and downtown Chatham on a quiet road for a relaxing family vacation! Our home is bright and airy and has all the comforts of home.
You will feel right at home with our fully equipped kitchen open to the dining area. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor one with two twin beds and one with a double bed. The living room is equipped with a 42" HDTV and dvd player. A full bath is also located on the first floor. Washer and dryer are located in the basement.
The upstairs has a loft with skylights for extra gathering space and features a queen sleeper/ sofa and tv. A spacious master bedroom with skylight with a queen bed and two loveseats for nice quiet down time. There is a full size bathroom located upstairs too.
We are 1.2 miles from Red River Beach which is a short drive or a nice bike ride to relax and catch some sun and sea air. There are lots of fresh water ponds too if you want a change from the sea air. The Cape Cod Bike Path is just 5/10 of a mile from the house which is a short bike ride to get to. It is also a short drive to Harwichport where you can enjoy the eateries and shops. You can also enjoy the Band Concerts in Harwich Center on Tuesday nights.
For other entertainment there is the Cape Cod Baseball League which features the Harwich Mariners, a 9 hole golf course, mini golf, go-carts and bumper boats all nearby.
It is just a five minute drive to downtown Chatham where you can stroll the streets and visit the quaint shops along the way. You can visit the lighthouse and hopefully see some seals at the fish pier. You can also enjoy the music at the local Band Concerts every Wednesday and Friday nights.
You can grab a ferry to Nantucket or just take a leisurely 45 minute drive to the tip of the cape to Provincetown all while vacationing in Cape Cod.

Summary: Nice house, spacious and comfortable for 5 adults. Good value and location. Walked to Red River Beach. There was no propane for the BBQ and we didn’t realize it until it was time to grill dinner :( but otherwise A+
