Good hiking opportunities on marked trails. Several mountain lakes offer good fishing opportunities; otherwise the fish-rich Hardangerfjord is not far away. There is also plenty of game here (hares and grouse); hunting must be arranged in advance with the landowner. Otherwise, this area is rich in berries and mushrooms, which make perfect side dishes to grilled fish or meat. In winter time you can ski here very well, both cross-country and downhill.
