San Salvador de Teis is a townhouse in a privileged location on the Vigo estuary, ideal for couples who want to explore Galicia by car and, on their return, relax on the outskirts of the city in a neighbourhood with plenty of authentic, local flavour.
The house shows a practical character thanks to its open plan interior layouts and is fully equipped with all the amenities to ensure an exceptional stay in the best company: dishwasher, high-speed fibre optic WiFi, large 55" TV screen with streaming channels such as Netflix and HBO and state-of-the-art appliances.
The house is located in front of the Parish Church of San Salvador de Teis and both buildings are from the same period. Teis was founded here and the old road that linked Vigo with Pontevedra passes in front of it, nowadays more frequented by pilgrims than by cars.
The house San Salvador de Teis is the oldest house recorded of Teis, time ago a little village near the other little village of Vigo. Nowadays, Vigo has become the largest city of Galicia and its influence on the surrounding villages is big although you can still feel the distance with the city's hussle and bussle. Teis looks onto the sea as an urban village, close but independent from Vigo, enjoying of the tranquility of it walks, the hidden sandy beaches with incredible seafood prices in their menus and parks all along the seacoast. The Rías Baixas offer a privileged environment for the practice of nautical sports and activities.
Between 2018 and 2020 a complete renovation of the house was carried out with all the facilities and modern furniture as well as cleaning the stone on the outside.
