Adorable Bark Cottage located in Camp Nelson, California with nice decks and fenced in back yard with fire pit & propane BBQ. The cabin has one bedroom off the main living area with 1 set of bunk beds and a full size futon, tv and game area, with one full bath located right off the bedroom.
Upstairs is a huge sleeping loft with two separate sleeping areas, one queen and one full size bed separated by a wall and 1/2 bath (sink and toilet). Central heat and fireplace insert. Cable TV, VCR/DVD in two rooms. Washer/Dryer make longer stays more convenient. Walk to Camp Nelson General Store, Nelson's Tavern, Camp Nelson Lodge, Camp Nelson Meadow, Belknap Campground and the Tule River. Hike the Nelson Trail as far up as Ponderosa and enjoy several groves of giant sequoias. 20 minutes up Highway 190 is the Ponderosa Lodge with Dome Rock only 1.5 miles past the lodge...a must see area with easy access for all ages.
