Positive: Truly amazing apartment and location!

Negative: Despite the apartment exceeding our expectations and being truly amazing, the online check-in beforehand was a bit strange. We had to sign a separate contract with Rental Benidorm which included mainly weird parts about noise monitoring. In the end, it was all fine, but surely no one likes the idea of being monitored or even recorded. The area was pretty new, so I understand why cameras and noise detection would be security measures and precautions to prevent tensions with the other residents. However, making customers sign a contract outside of booking.com and leaving no explanation which areas of the facility are being recorded or monitored is definitely not ideal. Upon arrival, we saw that the cameras in the apartment are covered, as far as we could see, and we were ensured that there are no microphones for noise monitoring in any rooms of the apartment. But then, why did we need to sign this contract in the first place? Better communication would help here.
