Beautiful lake front home with spectacular open water views, ample parking and great access to lake. Enjoy a large screened back porch and also a gazebo with a gas firepit, both overlooking the lake. There is a large dock and additional deck over the boathouse with plenty of room for everyone to sit, swim, or sunbathe right on the water! You can enjoy swimming right off the dock.
Life jackets, kayaks and a paddle board are provided for your use. Pier 43 Marina is just down the road from us if you are interested in renting a pontoon boat to explore Lake Tuscaloosa or bring your own jet skis. There is plenty of room to park a pontoon boat next to the dock and there are two floating jet ski ramps for your use if needed.
The house will accommodate six people; a king bed in the primary, queens in the other two bedrooms and two baths.
Linens and towels are provided for all beds and bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable, including a blender and a Keurig coffee maker, or if you want to cook outside, a charcoal grill/smoker is available. When the cooking is done you can relax in the hammock or enjoy the evening breezes from the screened in back porch, with great views of the lake.
Other amenities include two large screen TVs, high speed internet/WIFI, full size washer/dryer, wine cooler, mini refrigerator, a large dining and sitting area in the screened back porch.
The University of Alabama is located about 15 miles from our lake house. Toward Tuscaloosa, about 6 miles away, is a shopping center which includes a Winn Dixie grocery store, Subway, hair salon, clothing boutique, Frieda's Mexican Restaurant and 43 Prime Steakhouse. Also in this area is a CVS, McDonald's, Jack's, and Domino's Pizza, Waffle House and Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant. On highway 69, 7.5 miles away, there is a Publix grocery store shopping center with a liquor and cigar store, hair salon, nail studio, and Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant.
