This charming country house with breath-taking views is located at the foot of Mount Maroma. From the village you reach this property after a 5 km drive along the nature park and a partially unpaved road (2,5km). It is advisable to rent a car that is not 'too low to the ground' as there are sometimes some pits and bumps in the unpaved part. Outside the last 250m, this paved road is updated annually, before the holiday period. When opening the entrance gate, you enter a spacious parking lot adorned by a tree in the middle so you can easy drive around with the car. At the front of the house, the covered terrace was enclosed with windows and is now a cozy room where you can relax during the winter months. From this winter room you walk through to an open living space with open kitchen and high ceilings. Near the lounge area there is a fireplace and air conditioning hot and cold. The open kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and has a storage room with washing machine and tumble dryer. From the sitting area you can go to the master bedroom with private bathroom. On the other side of the living space there is access to two other bedrooms and a bathroom. All rooms have vaulted ceilings, air conditioning hot and cold, aluminum exterior carpentry with double glazing and mosquito screens in the bedrooms. A large sliding window door at the dining area provides access to the spacious sun terrace with a beautiful 8 x 4 meter swimming pool. The terrace and pool are surrounded by a impressive green mature garden. The views from this terrace to Mount Maroma and the surrounding hillsides are breath-taking. At the back of the plot is an extra storage room and outdoor shower. A walkway through the garden brings you back to the front of the house. Various terraces have been created around the house so that you can enjoy both the sun and the shade. This property, the house, its garden and views are drenched in charm and well worth a look for those looking for a property in full nature and only a 30 minute drive from the beach.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa, relaxed by and in the pool all day long! Reaching it was a bit of a hair-raising drive at first but we quickly got used to it. Scenic drive to Canillas which we did quite often; the Andaluz bar was great for tapas and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. Not too far to Velez Malaga for a bigger supermarket shop and Torre de Mar was good for a beach stroll and cafes. The villa had everything we needed and Joel was incredibly helpful at all times both before and during the holiday. Thank you for sharing your wonderful villa.
