Summary: Pros: the unit was the perfect size for my family of 5. It was clean, spacious & had lots of character. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do in the Northern CA area. Sami was great at communicating with us during our stay and got us whatever we needed. He even gave us recommendations about the neighborhood. Cons: sharing the backyard was interesting. We didn't realize Sami doesn't own the upper and lower unit. The owner of the lower unit has 0 standards about who they rent to & it seemed like more of a party house. The renters left food, ash trays and pot on the shared coffee table. At one point there was a man sleeping on the chaise that impacted our ability to make supper. We ended up checking out 1 day early d/t a very loud party that went from midnight until past 6:30 am. There was loud music, shouting, fighting between multiple groups of people that carried out to the front lawn and front door. Not something we want to subject our school age kids to. When we left that morning there were still people on the front steps awake from the night before. We reported all this to Sami and he was apologetic but it didn't feel like he could do anything about it. I would not stay here again only because of the unknown with the other unit.
