Summary: Our stay at the rural cottage on the Vincent Forge Mansion property was a delightful surprise. The cottage, beautifully restored with modern conveniences, offered a serene experience reminiscent of the English or French countryside, complete with stunning gardens. The owners’ attention to detail ensured a welcoming stay, even accommodating our dog with towels, bowls, and a tennis ball. Our host, Lawson, truly made the experience memorable. When we arrived late due to car trouble, he left us a bowl of chili and groceries, saving us the hassle of finding dinner. His hospitality extended to providing excellent restaurant recommendations, which were perfect for celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary. The location in Chester County is picturesque, surrounded by farms and historic buildings, with ample walking and biking paths and historic towns nearby. It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and malls, including outlet malls, making it an ideal spot for relaxation in a peaceful setting.
