Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Clean, quiet accommodation located in a valley surrounded by rice fields.

Negative: We initially intended to inquire about a room at the motel across the road, but then we spotted four lovely bungalows by the lake and, thankfully, we had already inquired there and stayed for about $20 USD a night. This was our best accommodation in the entire Loop area. The bungalows were brand new and extremely modern, with fans, air conditioning, and mosquito nets. The beds were spacious and very comfortable. The room rate didn't include dinner or breakfast, but that wasn't a problem as the town center was only a five-minute walk away, where there were plenty of restaurants. The nights were very quiet; we didn't hear any noise from the surrounding motels.
