Surrounded by gum trees, this renovated family home with raked ceilings, solar heated swimming pool and self contained flat, is centrally located in beautiful East Bateau Bay. This home is perfect for a large family or two families and is only 90 minutes drive from Sydney. Just a 350m stroll along Harbour Street puts you in the centre of Bateau Bay Beach, a favourite for local families, offering a safe and calm swimming bay with tidal rock pools, fishing spots and mangroves. It is a 400m walk to Blue Lagoon beach and 700m to popular patrolled surfing beach, Shelly Beach. Shelly Beach boasts a fully licensed surf club with balcony bar, restaurant with spectacular beach views and a great cafe for breakfast, lunch or coffees. The Property: This property is the perfect summer beach house. With an open plan layout and North facing entertainment area to the rear of the property, it is protected from the Southerly winds and captures the North East summer breezes beautifully. The12ft trampoline, pool and fully fenced front and back yard will keep the kids happy too! The main house sleeps 7 and includes 3 bedrooms with ceiling fans and built in cupboards, bathroom, open plan living and fully equipped laundry. The master bedroom has one queen bed and television. Bed 2 has a tri-bunk (double bed on the bottom and single bed on top). Bed 3 has king single bed and single trundle bed. The main house has air conditioning, free 5G NBN WIFI, 42” LED TV and off street parking for 5 cars, 3 of which can be locked behind the automatic gate. The fully renovated open-plan flat is located in the backyard overlooking the pool and cabana. This unit has a kitchen (no oven) with fridge and microwave. It has a bathroom/shower, pool table, LED 42” TV, outdoor hot water beach shower, outdoor dining table and sleeps 4 adults on two futons. Location and things to do: Local village shops are across the road from the property on Bateau Bay Road and include gourmet Pizza restaurant, fish and chip takeaway, bakery, cafe, hairdresser, post office, general store, boutique clothing and homewares store, doctor and chemist. It is a short 400m walk to local BYO Italian restaurant ‘Pordella’ and 700m walk to Bateau Bay Bowling Club which features a restaurant with large indoor child playground. It's only a 400m walk to a fully fenced children's playground and reserve with small nature walks through the trees. Just 1.5km North is Shelly Beach Golf Course and Golf Club with restaurant. All clubs in the area have courtesy buses available. Kilometres of coastal bush walking trails begin just metres from the front door in either direction, North or South. These trails range from intermediate/flat to advanced/steep inclines and all have magnificent ocean views along the way. From the top of the Forresters Beach look out, trail views extend South to Macmasters Headland and North as far as Norah Head Lighthouse, and on a clear day Newcastle and Hunter Valley. Only 1.3km to world class skate park 'Bato Yard’, ten pin bowling, Leagues Club and local shopping centre (Bateau Bay Square). A 6 minute drive to The Entrance (pelican feeding, fishing and boat hire, markets, carnival rides, beach, restaurants, Pubs, shopping, cinema, skate park, two great children's parks and water playground) and 15 minute drive to popular Terrigal Beach (shops, pubs, restaurants, beach). Erina Fair shopping centre or Westfield Tuggerah are also 15-20 minutes by car. Minimum 7 night stay over the Christmas holiday period. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday.
