My husband and I have been in this house for 25 years. We believe this was a mill worker’s house (there is a cobblestone walkway and millstones surrounding the house, and there is a gorge nearby with the remains of a mill). We have views of the Beacon Range and access to a swimming hole and hiking trails. We also have chickens that deliver fresh eggs. The house itself has a hot tub, an artist’s loft, a wood burning stove, a fireplace, and central air-conditioning. The historic town of Cold Spring is 10 mins away, as is a Metro North train station. Beacon, which features a world class art museum (Dia), restaurants, and music venues, is 15 minutes away.
