Positive: This is a lively location right on the best part of Margate Beach, just 2 minutes to walk to the water across the road. Also close to Margate shopping centre. The overall Beachwood apartment block looks well designed and maintained. The place has a good climate, never gets hot thanks to sea breezes. The beach and water are reasonably clean, nothing nasty apart from a bit of seaweed.

Negative: This particular unit (1) in the Beachwood apartment block looked somewhat inferior comparing to neighbour units, e.g.: - Some pieces of furniture looked a bit old and unreliable, we were afraid something may break - The bath needs a more serious repair to deal with poor water drainage - No convenient place to dry wet swimwear - A few cockroaches came every night
