Summary: 4 adults (two parents and two adult sons) enjoyed staying in this nice hotel. Right in the middle of the old quarter, very close to the main nightlife, with restaurants, bars, and shops all within a short walk. Could be noisy if you were at the front of the hotel at the weekend, but the better rooms were at the back - larger and more comfortable. Breakfast buffet was decent. The concierge came to our rescue when a tour we were booked on was cancelled at the last minute; the tour that she arranged was not that much more expensive and was private for us so we could adjust the time spent at each stage. We were able to book a half day in a room at the end of our stay which was cheaper than an airport lounge and meant we could shower before getting to the airport. The pool was quite nice, not very big and quite cold, but refreshing after a hot walk around Hanoi. Staff were so quite friendly and many spoke good English. I would stay here again. Note that the road is closed on Fri Sat Sun evenings so taxis will only pick up and drop off nearby (5 - 10 minute walk)
