Access by car ferry at Settlement Point which only takes a short 5 minute crossing, the ferry runs 24 hours a day at a cost of $8.00 each way or you can purchase a weekly ticket for $45. There is no shops on the North Shore so you will need to do your groceries before heading over. Both Woolworths & Coles are closeby.
Go for a stroll or bike ride down to either the open surf beach or the break-wall protected Bay Beach. You can drop the boat in the Hastings River & explore the beautiful waterways, hire a kayak or do a spot of fishing or why not take a 4WD up the track to Point Plomer or Crescent Head.
Port Macquarie boasts many wonderful restaurants and cafes, shopping centres and many other beautiful beaches to choose from, all within 10 minutes of the holiday house.
