Hawks Retreat is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and laid-back beach holiday. Renovated to provide all the modern comforts, while still retaining its classic beachside charm. Located within easy walking distance of popular “One Tree” Beach, the village shops and children’s playground. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax!
The Space:
On the top level, the open plan kitchen and dining area comes equipped with everything you might need. The living area adjoins the rear deck, where there is an extendable sun awning. There are three bedrooms on this floor (one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a single bed + single trundle bed). In addition, there is a bathroom complete with bath and shower recess, as well as a separate WC.
The lower level offers two more bedrooms (both with queen beds and one also with a single bed), another sitting area, and another bathroom with WC. This level also houses the laundry room, which comes complete with a washing machine and dryer.
At the rear of the property, you'll find a second sun deck complete with outdoor furniture, gas barbecue, and shade umbrella. The level back garden area is fully fenced and gated, making it perfect for kids. Off street parking is available for your car or boat. Unfortunately, the garage is not available to guests. We hope you enjoy your stay!
Guest Access:
Off street guest parking for your car & boat is provided in the driveway or behind the gate. The garage is not available for guest use. The main house is available to guests with the exception of a locked off private area on the ground floor + supply storage cupboard in the laundry.
For your arrival, we would be happy to meet you at the property (business hours Monday-Friday & Saturdays until 3pm) or simply leave keys available for you in the lock box located at the property.

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁; A refundable guest security deposit of $500.00 applies at Hawks Retreat @ Tuross Head. The security deposit is held by way of a pre-authorisation against your card. The hold is placed on the day of arrival and released within 48 hours of departure unless withheld to cover any damages. Please note; Excludes airbnb bookings.
𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀; Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund minus the booking fee. Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the start will receive a 50% refund. The booking fee is not refundable. Upon cancellation, if within the cancellation policy’s time frame, if the guest has paid for their booking via card, the guest will receive their set refund minus card payment processing fees.
𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀; must not exceed the number of guests stated at the time of booking. The house has a maximum occupancy limit of 9 persons including adults & children.
A non-refundable booking fee of $55.00 applies to each reservation.
