This property used to house a starch factory. Back in the 1900s when starch was in high demand, starch was made from the base of the Burrowong right here. We are located 2 hours from Canberra and 2 hours from Nowra.
The cabin is quaint, clean, homely with a great relaxing view. They have a peaceful, rural setting with wonderful sunsets and close to water.
You will be a short walk from the picturesque Clyde River where you can fish, paddle and swim. There is plenty of forest for hiking or bird watching in the area. A 20 minute drive south will take you to the Riverside village of Nelligen which has cafes, a pub and wonderful views of the Clyde. Please call before you leave home for directions as there is no mobile phone reception at this location.
