Summary: We loved our stay at Hotel Perla. The staff was amazing and the property was very nice, relaxing and not overcrowded with visitors. Not to mention, the beach is only about 25 yards from the hotel (with a beach bar only 15 yards from the hotel). The only challenge we encountered (as Americans) was the limitations of the Air Conditioning system in our room. As we have experienced several times in Europe, their AC systems are set up to cool to about 75-78 degrees. Even with the help/efforts from the staff, our room only got to about 75 (at the coolest). That said, we survived. I must mention that the staff was super kind and other amenities of the Hotel made up for the AC’s shortcomings… Oh, the food at Hotel Perla was excellent, best Italian food I’ve had in the region (sorry Italy)! Thank you Hotel Perla, y’all were amazing! Now, it’s back to Texas;-) David
