Lighthouse Road
If you are looking for beautiful and very handy beachside holiday accommodation with a great family beach on one side and the Byron town centre with all it has to offer on the other, then look no further than Clarkes Beach. It is patrolled by surf lifesavers in the summer months and also offers great surfing at The Pass, a famous spot close to Lighthouse Road and opposite an amazing bush track to the Byron Bay Lighthouse. Divide your days between some retail therapy and foodie adventures in town and this idyllic beach, which is protected from big swells for most of the year and offers small waves, rock pools, snorkeling and learning to surf activities as well as windsurfing, body boarding and paragliding.
