Find the perfect escape for a weekend away in Texas Hill Country at this waterfront home on the shores of Lake Buchanan. It's a place for long, sun-splashed days spent kayaking, swimming, boating, and fishing for striped, white, largemouth, and Guadalupe bass.
This home sits on the lake's western shore, right at the edge of Buchanan Lake Village. The scenic and convenient lakefront location gives you easy access to swimming, fishing, and a boat ramp at Cedar Point Recreation Area (one mile). Go for a swim at Black Rock Park (12 miles), head underground at Longhorn Cavern State Park (27 miles), or take a ride on the Vanishing Texas River Cruise (35 miles). You'll also be close to Llano, Marble Falls, Burnet, and all sorts of Texas Hill Country activities, from birding and eclipse-viewing to mountain biking and hiking at Enchanted Rock (42 miles).
After a day spent out on the water, come home to unwind on the partially shaded patio out back. Use the fish-cleaning station, propane fish fryer, and gas grill to prepare the day's fresh catch, and indulge in a nap in the hammock afterwards. At golden hour, head down to the swing on the dock to take in the big-sky view of the lake with a cold cocktail in hand.
Inside, the house is familiar and comfortable, with its wood-paneled walls, large windows, and central air conditioning throughout.
