Mayan Sky Villa is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath Caribbean Villa with a unique old world feel. Located high above Coral Bay in the popular community of Upper Carolina. Slate floors are complemented by an abundance of naturally finished South American hardwood doors, trim and railings. Beautifully arched windows and doors and air conditioning can be found throughout the home. The Great Room includes a 17 foot vaulted ceiling, comfortable seating, and an entertainment center. The well designed kitchen has counter seating making conversing and cooking pleasurable. It is fully equipped to prepare delightful meals. Meals can be enjoyed at the indoor classic wooden dining room table which can comfortably seat up to 6 diners, or if you would prefer your meals al fresco while enjoying stunning panoramic views of Coral Bay, there is casual dining area adjacent to the great room on the large wraparound covered deck.
Mayan Sky offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to 7 guests. The 3 bedrooms each have king beds and en-suite bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a large window designed to illuminate the room and provide stunning views of Coral Bay. Large double doors leading to a veranda. The second bedroom is on the same level and has an equally large window that overlooks Coral Bay. Additional windows allow you to take in the local flora. The third bedroom is poolside and features a daybed which can accommodate an additional guest.
The swimming pool area offers complete privacy. The pool deck was renovated summer of 2023 with brand new tile. There is romantic deck lighting around the pool making it perfect for a night swim. An outdoor shower located around the corner from the pool helps keep beach sand outside.
Mayan Sky is located in the Upper Carolina neighborhood and is easily accessed by paved roads. Coral Bay has a number of restaurants and shops with easy parking and is only a short 5 minute drive from the villa. Cruz Bay is about 20 minutes along Centerline Road. Several of the North Shore National Park beaches are less than 10 minutes away.
Mayan Sky is a perfect vacation home for guests looking for the quiet and peacefulness generally found on St John's eastern side. For guests looking for privacy and an 'away from it all' feeling in the Coral Bay area, Mayan Sky has it all.
Power is provided to St. John via an underground cable from St. Thomas. Our power supply is not always reliable and power outages are not uncommon. They are typically short lived, but can last for a few hours. These outages can happen with or without warning from the island’s power company, known as WAPA. We will do our best to keep you comfortable and informed. Antares strives to make your villa stay as comfortable and trouble free as possible. Please understand that power outages are out of our control. Please note, water will not work during an outage. There are no refunds for power loss.
