Positive: The room was centrally located within close walking distance to shops, restaurants and main attractions The room was well maintained, quiet and secure (just make sure the doors are closed behind you) The actual apartment section of the building was well maintained with a central hallway and small desk where staff were throughout the day and were able to assist with enquiries. They weren't always there but we're available via whatsapp I was in room 1 which was exactly as advertised in the pictures, an adequate space with good wifi and hot water. Also absolutely gorgeous view from my window (pictured) Overall it was relatively cheap compared to other options in the area and a good place to stay

Negative: The "hotel" is not as advertised and is more a cross between an Air BNB and virtual hotel. There is an online check in process and a virtual assistant as well as in-person staff who can come when needed. This wasn't necessarily a "con" but I don't feel this was adequately described in the listing and is probably a cause for so many negative reviews. (Make sure you have a SIM card to communicate when you arrive if any problems and make sure you actually complete the online check in process before arrival - information about check-in will be sent by WhatsApp) The building overall (although not the section the "hotel" is) is quite run down and decrepit (common in an old part of the city) which makes sense given the owners only have the section on the 4th floor and aren't responsible for the other residential part of the building. The area you actually stay is quite nice though. Once you actually get to the fourth floor and enter the part of the building where the rooms are it's much nicer.
