Only a short stroll to Silverbeach on the shores of Botany Bay, with access to a boat ramp and safe swimming beaches.
Botany Bay National Park is a 3 min drive or 15 min walk, where you will discover Captain Cooks Landing Place/monument, picnic areas with free BBQ facilities.
The cliffs at Solander Point provide an ideal location for Whale watching, while the rocky outcrops appeal to scuba divers, snorkellers and keen fishermen. Horseriding stables are located 3 mins drive away as is the 4WD park at Boat Harbour.
Catering to the sailor or kite surfer, is Kurnell Catamaran Club and popular kite surfing spot located at Bonna Point.
There are also golf courses nearby at Cronulla and Woolooware.
The bus stop directly in front of the house, provides easy public transport to Cronulla only 10mins drive away, where you will find you are spoilt for choice with the many Cafes, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs, Cinema, beaches and bays or catch a ferry to picturesque Bundeena.
Hop on the train to thriving Westfield Miranda, only 10 mins away for a days shopping or head off into the city of Sydney only 45mins on the train.
As with a lot of Sydney suburbs close to the city, Kurnell is only several kilometres from Sydney airport. Some aircraft noise does occurr during day time hours, depending on wind, landing and take-off patterns. However, as residents of Kurnell, any noise heard only lasts 15 - 20 secs, I beleive this will not affect your stay.
