Summary: This was such a lovely stay. The property is on a peaceful, quiet “cul de sac” tucked away in the woods with gorgeous views of the water from the back. The unit has a super cute “coastal farmhouse” vibe. Technically it’s a studio, as there’s no separate bedroom, per se, but it’s quite large and comfortable. Several people could easily stay there without tripping over each other. Maryellen is a wonderful host! She makes sure you have everything at your fingertips to have a nice stay. The welcome basket with a bottle of wine was a really nice touch! She gave me a list of places to go and things to experience, and like everyone else has said, the crab boil was awesome! I’ve never don’t it before, so it was a real treat. I also really appreciate that she accommodates visitors with dogs. It’s hard to find properties that are dog friendly and she was more than welcoming! Her dog, McGee was also a gracious host, showing my dogs around and finding them to play. He is a very sweet boy! My dogs loved the extra attention, exploring the property and swimming whenever they wanted to. Spending those four days here was incredibly peaceful! I felt like a welcomed friend staying here. I hope to be back sooner than later!
