1 Bedroom Apartment in White Salmon

Guests love the remote, woodsy space despite being only 3 miles from White Salmon. Our .5 mile rural gravel road leads to the dog-friendly studio apartment over the garage with a clear-day view of Mt. Hood from the comfortable king-size bed. You’ll have kitchen, bathroom, and patio with access to trails. We live in the main house next door with our big, friendly 6 year old dog Wilson. ALL are welcome!
We are very dog friendly. Please let us know if your dog does not get along well with others or if you have any special needs or concerns. We have garden and five forested acres that connect to miles of trails.
Things to note: our water is from our well and can smell sulfurous at times, but is perfectly safe, and we have a filtered drinking water spigot in the kitchen.
We are currently building two tiny homes on the property but will not work on them much while people are staying. We sometimes have guests in our yurt and we often work outside. In the winter, the driveway may require all wheel drive, and if a storm causes cancellation, we do not collect any fee.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay--I'll admit we spent most of the time out and about but it was a nice retreat at the end of the day. Communication was great, any questions were quickly answered and they even responded after we left when I misplaced an item.Tip for sensitive noses looking for a place to stay in White Salmon: the tap water in the White Salmon area has an eggy/sulfur smell. This place does have a filtered tap for drinking, and it smelled/tasted just fine (and I might be a slight water snob).
