Nothing will beat a sunset at Camelot!
Although just minutes from the bustle of Holland’s major attractions, restaurants and shopping, the moment you arrive at Camelot, a sense of calm takes over.
Camelot is the place to delight in simple, summer memories. Building sand castles and taking a plunge in Lake Michigan, relaxing on the private beach. Feeling content exhaustion from playing all day in the surf. Relaxing with sunset cocktails on the deck. Then … fall asleep (and wake up) to the gentle sound of waves. Perfect for family time or entertaining.
Camelot has a full kitchen, outdoor grill area, large dining table, living room with futon, a large deck that stretches from the cottage to the bluff. Upstairs are two bedrooms with full-sized beds and a front bedroom which includes a set of bunk-beds, two more full-sized beds and single. There is an additional single bed and pull out futon on the main floor. A full bathroom is on the main floor as well. Front screened porch with a swing for good napping and watching the waves.
Pets are always welcome at Camelot. Linens and towels are NOT provided. Only 50 steps between the bluff and the private beach.

Summary: The quality of the sandy Lake Michigan beach is excellent. The quality of the sleeping comfort, not so much. Mattresses/beds need to be updated for a good night’s sleep. There were plenty of games and beach toys. The kitchen was reasonably stocked, although a tea kettle for boiling water would have been appreciated. We brought our own sharp knives and clean sponges for dishwashing. There were lots of fans, which we needed as it was fairly hot in the house. Check-in was easy.
