Bundanoon is located in the Southern Highlands between Sydney and Canberra with its own train station. The town is popular for events like Brigadoon, activities like cycling and Buddhist retreats or weddings plus a great get away for a peaceful, quiet country life. We love our birds especially cockatoos, king parrots, rosellas that frequent the property at our bird bath and feed stations. Max 4 guests. Privacy as it's an independent cottage. Do let us know if you have forgotten to bring essentials and we will be happy to assist in any way possible. NBN wifi will enable travelers to stay online. Walking distance to cafes, small shops, post office and pub in Bundanoon. The Morton National Park entrance is also only a short distance away and offers spectacular escarpment views especially at sunrise & sunset. Visitors can also see kangaroos, occasional wombats and possums in the Park. Bundanoon has two Buddhist monasteries, council owned swimming pool, lawn bowling club with bistro. Bikes can be hired from local cafe to explore the area on two wheels. The Soldiers Memorial Hall has fortnightly Sunday markets, movie nights, drama and music concerts as advertised locally. Bundanoon is on the Sydney - Canberra - Melbourne train line, we can receive you at the station if required. The cottage is newly built and previous guests have complimented us that it is immaculate and beautiful. And we love it!!
