Ribba Cottage is located beyond the main Mindaribba House and down a little private lane. Ideal for two guests, this cottage is offered separately from guests stays in the main residence. Formerly the property’s dairy, Ribba Cottage has been transformed to welcome guests for a relaxed and restful stay. The queen bedroom, one-bathroom, self-contained cottage is a peaceful place to take in the country air, and rural views. Featuring kitchen, casual sitting room, TV, Wi-Fi, BBQ, air-conditioning, this cottage is designed for comfort with modern features all coupled with the simplicity of a bygone era. Guests will love relaxing in the large, outdoor stone bathtub, perfectly positioned to soak in the landscape and river views.
Located minutes from the villages of Lorn and Morpeth, 15 minutes to Maitland and less than half an hour to the vineyards, restaurants, wedding and concert venues of Wine Tocal and Wine Country. The property is only one hour’s drive from the city and beaches of Newcastle and only two hours to Sydney. A tree-lined driveway welcomes you to a magical setting with magnificent park-like grounds, clipped hedgerows, beautiful old trees, breathtaking rural views and of course, the Paterson River.
Please Note: For guest privacy and comfort, please note Ribba Cottage and Mindaribba House can be booked together under Mindaribba Estate or, separately as Mindaribba House and Ribba Cottage. All Mindaribba House facilities such as the pool and firepit for the House are for the private use of House guests only, and are NOT able to be used for guests staying at Ribba Cottage.
The Paterson River accessible from this property is for agricultural purposes only and for guests safety, no watersports or swimming is permitted from the banks for the river at any point.

Please note, Mindaribba has exterior security cameras to monitor the exterior of the home only for the protection of the property. Security cameras are commonplace at many of our rural properties. Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms & Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

Midweek - (Mon - Thu) minimum 2 nights for up to 2 guests (adults or children) $278 per night
Infants under 2 are free.
Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $300 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.
MIDWEEK BOOKINGS & LONGER STAYS
Please contact us for a quote. Discounts are available on midweek stays and longer stays of 4 nights and over.
NOTES -
One-night stays are available midweek.
Weekend one-night stays may be available but will attract a surcharge.
Weekend Public Holiday bookings must be a minimum 3-night stay at full weekend rate. Easter, Christmas and New Year periods etc are a minimum 3 night stay and charged at full weekend rate.
Surcharges may apply on Hunter Concert weekends and Special Events.
