If you want a relaxing holiday with spectacular ocean views and within walking distance to beaches, this is the property for you.
On entry to the upstairs area you will be amazed at the scope of views 300 degrees of water, mountains, and more water.
Modern kitchen with an induction cooktop and double oven, microwave, fridge and a Nespresso coffee pod machine (bring your own pods).
Fully ducted air conditioning upstairs for your comfort.
Three generous bedrooms. The main bedroom with en-suite and TV allows you to lay back in your queen sized bed and have a coffee/tea as you look out to sea and watch the whales, sea eagles, and fishing boats leave Laurieton bar and watch the waves break on Point Perpendicular.
Second bedroom with queen sized bed faces south looking at North Brother mountain and over the bush.
Third bedroom faces north with a king single bed - morning sun and warmth. A 2-way main modern bathroom which includes a bath, toilet and large shower.
The BBQ is sheltered on the north side where you can look over the rooftops and view Rainbow Beach all the way to Lighthouse Beach.
The balcony wraps around the house allowing you to lounge on the daybed with a drink or a book while toasting in the sun or extend the awning on the western side as you look up to Big Nellie, Comboyne and Jolly Nose mountain.
Have breakfast on the balcony with the 6 seat outdoor table which can be moved to the south side if the breeze is too strong or too cool, and soak up the atmosphere and the scent of the Frangipani tree when it is in bloom.
No matter which way the wind blows you can always find a spot which is sheltered and still have a view.
In the evenings chill out inside with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the western mountains. Peaceful and relaxing either inside or out.
For entertainment there is a TV and DVD upstairs and the downstairs area is self-contained with your own toilet and shower and a pool table with a couch and a sliding door that opens to the south.
In the double garage there is also a Ping-Pong table which can easily be set-up (if you leave your boat and car in the street or on the grass on the south side of the house).
The laundry has a 7kilo washing machine and the dryer is located in the garage
The backyard is fenced
There is easy access to walking trails to Grants Beach, or around to Grants Head if you need some exercise. It is a 10-15-minute walk to the patrolled Rainbow Beach beach and cafe.
We have also left our celestial telescope with 3 lenses and our normal telescope/binoculars for your use and enjoyment. The stars and moon at night are absolutely stunning.
We have decided to leave in place our Persian rug for your enjoyment but ask if you think it could get spoilt please roll it up as it is very heavy to move around.
This is our home which we have decided to share with visitors and hopefully you will enjoy the tranquility it offers and look after it as if it is yours.
