Springview Retreat is in a class of its own. Situated on a 15 acre property that used to be part of a much larger dairy farm. The original "Springview" farm house is about 100 meters from the cottage. Private access and tasteful furnishings, you won't have to leave your comfortable king size bed (with luxurious linen) to enjoy the sweeping views of the Barrengarry escarpment.
Leave the blinds in the bathroom open, the cattle will be your only curious visitors.
If you have a clear night we guarantee an unforgettable evening lying on the large deck gazing at the night sky full of stars.
Only 7 minutes from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley village that offers a selection of quaint shops and good restaurants. For those a little more adventurous we recommend a trip in a canoe down the river. There are also some fabulous bush walks in, and around the valley. You can also explore the area by car to view the cliffs, waterfalls and rivers.
Fully self contained, you can curl up on the sofa for your whole stay with a book, or explore the many local attractions. We hope you will create wonderful memories in our little piece of paradise. Happy to help in any way we can!

Summary: A lovely stay in the “middle of nowhere”! It was really beautiful, the location, interiors and style of accommodation was gorgeous. The only very slight disappointment was the lack of wifi (which can be a benefit for some, but difficult if you needed to be in regular phone contact due to health reasons) and the lack of any other form of heating. The log fire is wonderful and heats up the whole place after a while, but besides 1 oil heater it was hard for the cabin to stay warm without being there to maintain the fire. (Very thankful for the generous amount of wood left by the owner!) A lovely stay overall and very relaxing and rejuvenating. Beautiful
