Positive: Pros: + The floor plan was spacious and the rooms were clean. + & - The location was quiet had it not been so close to the highway which the bedrooms are situated on the same side and at 4:00am the traffic begins and very loud and I'm a light sleeper as well as one of the other guest and after I wake up it's hard to go back to sleep. This would be okay for those who are not light sleepers. + Good area to get around in Lift and/or Uber if your not using your own vehicle + Walk up 2 blocks to catch the bus to Santa Monica (over an hour ride) if you want to see some of the sights where folks live + Safe neighborhood, corner store and gas station (Shell) just in case you want to get a late night snack
Negative: - The Manager did not show friendly so don't expect him to be courteous to any questions you have. Examples: 1) I called 2 days to find out when we would get the information about staying there (codes etc) and he was blunt and appeared that I did not need to know until he was ready to give it to me and FYI you will not receive this until your first day of your stay after 11:00am. 2) We were given the incorrect code to get in when arriving after midnight and he seemed bothered; stating it was the right code and he then found that it wasn't about 15 minutes later. - Only 1 television and no channels except what comes with the TV (LG). I don't like putting my codes into other locations. So if you need a tv to go to sleep with (I do but my other 2 family members did not) bring your Chromebook or laptop as there are none in the bedrooms. - Would have called the manager regarding these 3 items but didn't want to bother him. 1) Hot water took too long to heat up. 2) Bulb in hallway upstairs continued to flash 3) Don't expect but 2 sets of towels per bedroom (wash, hand, bath) even if you're staying for 5 days (it's a charge if you want more).
Summary: Overall it was a good place to stay and felt safe
