Positive: Great access to the beach. Good value. kitchen and bathroom had been redone and was great. 4 pools to choose from if you wanted pool time. one of them was a shallow pool for littles. Snack shack by the pools for snacks. the girl renting beach chairs and umbrellas was AWESOME! she was so sweet! would have used the balcony more if we’d been on beach side, but still was nice to have. tennis/pickle ball court. close to great restaurants and shopping. Short trip to Flora-Bama, like 10 minutes, if that. Customer service was good when I called bc I had trouble getting the door code to work at first (operator error!)
Negative: the guy at the guard shack when arrived was rude when I asked where our room was. The corridor to get to the rooms was drab, gave off a sort of sketchy vibe. the couch was a velour, which we put a sheet over and decorative pillows we put in closet, just gave us a gross feeling, but once removed and covered we were fine. the plastic cover on the mattress was loud every time a movement was made, light sleeper woke up every time a movement was made. couldn’t use the ceiling fan without the light being on
