The Archer House, described as one of Australia's quintessential beachfront homes, is spectacularly set on Sydney's iconic Whale Beach. Built into the contours of the hill with the beach at your doorstep, the minimalist steel, glass and concrete pavilion offers a spacious open living design and panoramic views over the South Pacific Ocean. The Archer House graciously flows over two levels, with living dining and kitchen on the top level and bedrooms located on the second level. The 4 generous bedrooms can be found on the below level all with bathrooms, including a family/bunk room. The house can comfortably accommodate 12 guests.
What the Owner Loves
The top floor of the pavilion can open on both sides with glass walls that slide away to form a continuous platform from the terrace in front to the courtyard at the back. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room. With waxed concrete floors and floor to ceiling louvres capture the ocean cross breeze to keep you cool in the height of summer.

The Archer House was designed by the award winning Craig Rosevear and has been acknowledged as outstanding contemporary architecture having won the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects
Wilkinson Award in 2001. The house has been featured in the Phaidon Atlas of Contemporary World Architecture; on the cover of Living in Sydney, photographed by Giorgio Possenti; and in 100 Amazing Sydney Homes, Part One; Sydney Morning Herald November 2003.
What Families Love
The breakout area downstairs is ideal as a kids retreat or family area, the lounge area offers a full entertainment system with Pay TV and Apple TV for the family to enjoy. If that isn't enough to keep the families amused you are of course are spectacularly located on the sands of Whale Beach; You can walk down the little track through the trees onto the beach to spend the days enjoying the sunshine and waves of the famous Whale Beach!
Jonah's Restaurant; a fine dining restaurant located on Bynya Road, Whale beach. Offering amazing food and spectacular views it is definitely worth a visit.
Palm Beach Village; a short drive away is the main street of Palm Beach, offering some more great cafes and boutique shops including Palm Beach Wine and Cheese.
