The space
Cyclists and Mountain Bikers can secure their bikes out of sight in large open garage to rear. Walkers can easily access Botanic gardens, the Mill complex, town centre and walking/ cycle paths - drivers (and steam train enthusiasts) can visit nearby historic Maldon, Bendigo, Daylesford and Hepburn Springs as well as wineries, historic gold mining sites. Specialised mountain bike facility and new mini train facility in nearby Harcourt.
Other things to note
We have 150 sq m of house, decorated as retro 1970's with a few modern features merged in for comfort - plus a 35 sq m roofed and sun sheltered pergola with mini-Q BBQ and seating for 8 !
600 sq m of landscaped raised garden beds and stone paths - trees, flowers and vegetables plus a safety screen covered featurepond.

Cooling is evaporative and ducted to all rooms - control on lounge wall at entrance is fixed to wall - just push Start. Cooling relies on circulation, so open doors - and windows in rooms you wish to cool. Master key to all window locks in kitchen window.
Heating is a gas log fire - best on auto to keep you toasty warm! Please be gentle with controller pad... Oil filled heaters in rooms need to be plugged into wall sockets direct - not extension cords. Electric blankets have overheat cut-offs and kids rooms (single beds) may need to be plugged in to controllers.
WiFi is 4G modem with The Greenery as name and 6Carolst as password - as on modem.
Hot water is endless gas instantaneous - blend to temperature required.
TV has hdmi and USB cables for connecting your media - use our selection of DVD movies. Aerial booster behind couch needs to be on with dc power connected for free-to-air.
Kitchen is fully equipped with many staplesand dishwasher tablets etc. under sink.
BBQ area is under a pergola - with sliding sail cloth under and is a gas Mini-Q. Please clean and turn off gas for the next guest.
Gardens are extensive with raised stone beds and landings and paths to the top of the block - with views over the town to the western ridge line. Ramped walkways extend to the vegetable patch and Bedroom #4 accesses the pergola with no steps - for older guests.
Please do not turn off taps to irrigation system at several points around the gardens. We have set timers to avoid your comings and goings as best we can.
If there are berries or fruit ripe during your stay, please take a reasonable share to enjoy.
Laundry has full facilities and detergents etc. for a short stay - with a large tumble dryer and hanging lines along the porch and pergola at the rear.
Dogs are welcome = up to 2 in number and should keep to bare floor areas and outside. Doggy bags are in the dining dresser drawer. Please ensure they do not disturb the neighbours after hours. The property has dog -proof fences and a gated driveway.
Due to extensive birds and blue-tongues lizards, cats should be supervised and caged when unattended.
Parking under carport and a second in tandem - plus parking on the grass verge in front (please reverse off and do not drive over neighbour's lawn).
