The Juniper House has a style all its own! It’s a unique double gambrel structure that’s conveniently located 15 minutes to MetroNorth and close to all that the area has to offer! Tons of windows and super high ceilings in the living room make for a bright and airy space that is filled with character and mid-century vibes. A large bedroom on the main floor sits next to a full bath. Upstairs is an additional bedroom with en-suite bath and a bright and spacious open lofted living room.
This is a beautiful two bedroom, two full bath open concept lofted space. Each bedroom is private and has a queen bed with sliding doors out to the patio/balcony overlooking the fire pit. The second floor en suite bedroom has a private full bathroom, ample closet space, and a desk. There is a comfortable queen size pull out couch in the loft living area.
The main level has a gourmet kitchen with a gas stove/ oven, dishwasher, microwave, stainless steel refrigerator, and a large island with seating for four.
The dining space and living room is adjacent with access to a large deck for BBQ grilling.
The second floor has another sitting area with a couch, armchair, and 65” smart TV. The shelves are stocked with books and games on this floor.

Highland is set in the apple country of the world surrounded by restaurants, shops, cideries and wineries. The Hudson Valley Rail Trail is a mile away, New Paltz is less than 10 minutes as well as The Walkway Over the Hudson!
The Mohonk Preserve, Shawangunk Mountain, and Minnewaska State Park are minutes away with endless trails and beautiful lookouts.
If you plan on staying in and enjoying the space for a retreat you can easily get to the area from NYC by bus or the Metro-north Train and then take a 10 minute Uber ride to the property.
Getting around and enjoying the sites we recommend a car. The driveway has space for 3 vehicles.
The washer and dryer are on the first floor and available for use.
There are shades on the large windows in common areas and they are on a timer. Closing at dusk and opening at 8:30am.
The bedrooms have room darkening shades and sound machines.
Please no pets or smoking.
Bringing unauthorized pets, extra guests, or smoking on the property will result in a fine.
Please close and lock all windows and doors when you leave the house.
There is a fireplace, but unfortunately for insurance and liability purposes it cannot be used. There will be a $500 fine if used.
Please be considerate of the neighbors and respect quiet hours from 10pm-8am.
Please report any damage to furniture, linens, property, etc immediately.
