This beautiful 2-story, 3,600 sq ft Pacific Grove home is just a block from the Monterey Bay shoreline. The updated, art-filled 3-bedroom, 3-bath house has a calming contemporary feel with spacious rooms and Asian accents.
The living room features vaulted ceilings, poured concrete floors, wood-burning fireplace and flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings. Two built-in corner window seats offer spots for reading or contemplation. French doors off the living room open to a fenced-in back patio. A gas fire pit, gas grill, teak bench, table and chairs for 4 make it a wonderful place for outdoor entertaining.
The drop-dead gorgeous kitchen would be the envy of a professional chef. Highlights include black and green granite countertops, a large central island, tile floors and backsplash, maple cabinets, an over-sized refrigerator, counter-top gas stove, double ovens, dishwasher and a microwave. Enjoy delicious meals in a separate dining room with a round wooden table with 6 upholstered chairs. A decorative fireplace that can be lit with battery operated candles and recessed wall shelves display glass objets d'art.
A large staircase leads to the 2nd story and an open area with floor-to-ceiling windows and built-in shelving stocked with games, puzzles and children's books. At the far end is an office space with ocean and park views. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Upstairs, Bedroom #1 is a suite that includes a sitting area with a love seat and chair and binoculars for whale watching.
The king bed is fitted with luxury linens. A wall of built-in shelving is stocked with art books. French doors open to a large upper deck with bay views.
A spacious en suite bathroom in soothing neutral tones includes a large soaking tub framed in marble tiles with ocean views (and privacy shades), a glass-framed walk-in shower and a generous walk-in closet.
Upstairs, Bedroom #2 has a split king bed with foam topper, two bedside tables, a flat-screen TV and an upholstered chaise. A door set into floor-to-ceiling windows opens to a balcony with bay views.
An en suite bathroom with sand-colored tiles and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower completes the suite.
The first floor has Bedroom #3 in a seashell theme with a queen bed with luxury linens and a door that opens to a small patio.
