Lots of outdoor activities including kayaking on the Little River and hiking in Desoto State Park and Little River Canyon National Recreation Area. Mentone has great restaurants and bistros and has a vibrant arts and crafts community and shops. Downtown Chattanooga is 45 minutes away.
Floor plan description: The house has 4 levels. From the front walkway, there are 2 short steps to the front deck entering on the main floor which includes the laundry room, den, kitchen, great room, a kingsized bedroom with a full bath that adjoins a twin bed bedroom. The screened in porch is off the main floor. From the main floor going down 5 steps with a hand rail is the downstairs suite with a full bath, king bed, and a bunk bed with twin mattresses. This bedroom goes out to a private lower deck with views of the brow. Once you return to the main floor, there are 8 steps with handrail to the upstairs suite with an additional loft. This upstairs suite includes a full bath and queen size bed, tree house play closet, a private balcony deck, and a loft with twin beds.
