We have owned this home since 2003 and we are thrilled to share our piece of paradise with you. Everyone should experience the Hawaiian lifestyle. We have guests from all over the world return year after year. Several guests have returned over 22 times!!! The Viewhouse has the BEST VIEW in the Best neighborhood and is one of the few licensed, LEGAL vacation rentals in Lanikai. The home is situated mountainside overlooking the ocean and is on the main street in Lanikai so it is just a short easy walk to the best beaches on Oahu- Kailua and Lanikai Beach! Up high for a view and street level for easy access. Take advantage of the use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and bikes. The house has been beautifully renovated with Bamboo wood floors and marble countertops. The Viewhouse has the BEST VIEW in the Best neighborhood on the BEST BEACH. We have owned, renovated, and carefully maintained this home since 2003. This is more than a business for us. The Viewhouse is a very special piece of paradise that everyone should have the opportunity to experience! Everyone can experience the local Hawaiian lifestyle—in just a week or two. We have guests from all over the world return year after year. And this place is one of the few licensed vacation rentals in Lanikai! The home is situated on the side of a mountain overlooking the ocean and is on the main street in Lanikai. It is just a short easy walk to the best beach on Oahu. Take advantage of the use of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and bikes. The house has bamboo wood floors and marble countertops making this tropical oasis the perfect comfortable and upscale place to experience paradise like a local. It is meticulously clean, well maintained, and beautiful. Completely private large lanai (balcony) overlooks the Pacific Ocean and the Mokulua Islands. The lanai has an oversized outdoor sofa undercover for napping or reading and a table for four and a charcoal BBQ grill.
When you arrive at the house there is convenient off-street parking and one flight of steps to get to the Viewhouse level (first floor) of the house. The Viewhouse is private and does not share entryways or bathrooms with the rest of the home. It includes a one-bedroom with a queen bed with an ADDITIONAL second bed a queen murphy bed in the living area (TWO QUEEN BEDS) , one bathroom with shower, the private kitchen includes a full-size fridge, dishwasher, convection plate, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc. The entire first floor of this beautiful estate is yours to enjoy. You'll spend most of your time on the spacious covered outdoor lanai. Other amenities include hand-stitched Hawaiian heirloom quilts, elephant bamboo furniture, large flat-screen TV, and wireless Internet. The home is located on the coveted Lanikai loop—a two and a half-mile street that circles around with cut-through streets along each block. It is great for morning walks and the beach is1.5 blocks away.
Charming Kailua town is a bike ride away. I recommend coffee and breakfast at Kalapawai market, Farmer's markets on Thursday night and Sunday mornings, Buzz's steak house, and local shopping!
