This is a 3,500 square foot home located in Mandalay Shores in the City of Oxnard Shores. It is a great home for a large family or multiple families to come and stay. It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach or a short drive to Ventura or Santa Barbara or even Malibu. Our names are Mike and Kristen, and we are excited to welcome you to our home, perfect for small, calm weekends or big family celebrations. The house is full of old memories and new appliances, both of which we hope to share with you!

From another one of our guest comments: “For families or groups looking for house to share that is within short walking distance from any beach - anywhere along the southern California coast - you will be hard-pressed to find one as good as this one, for the value, location, and quality of the house. Mike and Kristen's house is a 5-10 minute walk from the Pacific, on a beach that was not too terribly crowded over the Fourth of July holiday. Oxnard itself has a wide variety of restaurants (seafood!) and is a wonderful place to stay - and it's not too terribly far from LA. As for the house itself - we had a party of 9 and we slept comfortably. Just some particulars - the ground floor has one of the three bedrooms in the house and two bathrooms (which is helpful if you have mobility-challenged folks in your party). There is also - as many others have noted - a fabulous game room with an arcade, pool table, and FoozBall. On the second level is the kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two more bathrooms. On the third level is a loft, perfect for young kids who want to have their own play and sleeping area. As noted in the listing, there is ample street parking, and room for two cars in their garage. Finally, Mike and Kristen are fabulous hosts. Their house is well-stocked with all the supplies you might need (including beach chairs, towels and sand toys - thank you!). They also answered all of my questions promptly and were great to work with. Our family had an enjoyable reunion together at this property, and we believe your family will, too.
