This floating Air BnB is attached to a dock as part of Cape Carraholly Retreat, nestled in British Columbia's old growth, oceanfront rainforest. Enjoy quick access to an abundance of outdoor activities including kayaking, jet skiing, fishing, boating, and swimming off the dock. Explore the many hiking trails Belcarra Regional Park has to offer and visit the secluded beaches or admire the trees older than 500 years. Snuggle up by a campfire in a beach shack on chilly nights to roast some marshmallows or enjoy your favorite board games.
BOAT SHUTTLE SERVICE
Parking and transport logistics will be provided to you through a PDF file automatically upon confirmation of your reservation. Specifically, the meeting point is at the beach on Barnet Marine Park. One of our team members will meet you and transport you to the property with a short shuttle boat ride. The 5-10 minute boat shuttle trip to and from the property is part of the check-in and check-out process and is included in the cost of your stay. However, once you are on the property, you will need our assistance if you would like to leave the property.
Each additional boat shuttle trip is an additional $25. You may need to pay extra fees for boat shuttle trips if you apply to one of the following:
1) You have guests completing the check-in & check-out process at separate times.
2) You have a group larger than 8 (the boat fits 8 people).
3) You wish to commute to and from the property throughout your stay (combined both ways for $25 total).
Please refer to the “Check-In & Check-Out” Shuttle Service under the “Additional House Rules” section for more information. Early or late check-ins & check-outs may have additional costs. Most of our guests pack enough food, beverages and luggage for the duration of their stay as there is no vendor nearby.
THE SPACE

The Property is located on a 75 acre ocean front property at 73WR+2PC, Port Moody, B.C. with coordinates available upon reservation. An extensive beach and inlet shoreline will satisfy your adventurous spirit. The heated beach shack provides seating and a gas fire pit for guests to use while savoring B.C.’s unrivaled sunsets. Guests may also rent kayaks, jet skis, and fishing equipment upon request. Discover over 26 km of hiking trails and 9 km of cycling trails throughout the dense rainforest of the təmtəmíxʷtən/ Belcarra Regional Park where you will find beautiful hidden beaches and diverse flora and fauna. Within the property, there are 4 yachts, 5 cottages, an RV and more to come in the future. We also have a dock to use for renting boats, jetskis, and kayaks.
PLEASE NOTE:
This is a mechanical, off-grid boat, attached to a dock along an ocean fjord. There are times when certain parts do not function as you would normally expect if you were on a land dwelling Air BnB. While we ensure the functionality of everything prior to your stay, there is a possibility that a malfunction may occur while you're on board. Rest assured, we will work with you either remotely or at the boat to solve any issue that may have occurred.
ADD-ONs
WATERCRAFT RENTALS:
-Rent single- person kayaks for $50 per day ($75 for the whole stay).
-Rent two single person kayaks for $75 per day ($100 for the whole stay).
-Rent a small motorized boat (dinghy) $75 per day ($100 for the whole stay).
-Rent 1 jetski (Seadoo Spark 90) for $75 per hour (excluding taxes and fuel) or 3 hours -for $175.
GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is limited due to its remote location. You must coordinate transport logistics with the host in order to enter and depart from the property during your stay.
Guests will have access to the whole inside cabin of the yacht. Guests will not have access to the engine compartment, nor the side bridges and front anchoring bridge. Those areas are restricted due to risk of falling and slipping.
Guests also have full access to the densely-wooded 75 acres the boat is surrounded by. Guests also have access to the dock, beach, and hiking trails within the property.
GUEST INTERACTION
The host will meet with the guests upon check-in and checkout and is staying on the property, but in a different building while respecting guests' privacy.

OTHER DETAILS
If you stay longer than 3 nights, the host will be checking the water tank levels as well as other systems and fuel to make sure everything runs smoothly and nothing runs out. This could be daily, depending on usage and number of occupants. The host will always communicate ahead of time and be considerate of your privacy and preferences.

STRICTLY ENFORCED (Wildlife):
-($100 fine) No food, garbage, luggage, dishes or anything with the potential to attract wildlife such as bears or mice is to be left outdoors unattended.
-($50 fine) No doors left open. Close doors behind you to prevent wildlife from entering the boat.
-($50) Noise complaint(s) from guests in other nearby houseboats or cottages.
-($150) Excessive noise and music after 11 pm, or a second noise complaint.
