This lovely couples' retreat is situated among rolling hills and forest trees just north of Toronto, Ontario and is perfect for a getaway that lets you experience being "off the grid" while not being too far "off the grid"! The loft has a queen mattress and all sheets and bedding are supplied. The main floor living space has a table and chairs and a sitting area. The main source of heat is a wood stove and all wood and kindling is also supplied and on site at the Cabin. There is a kitchenette with basic utensils, and a bathroom that features an "Airhead" (liquids only) compost toilet. This cabin does have electricity but does not have access to running water. Bottled water is provided, as well as access to the main accommodations shared kitchen and dedicated washroom facilities. Wifi is not accessible in the Cabin but you can access Wifi in the Main House which is about a 2 minute walk up the lane.The fully functional kitchen in the main house comes with all the necessary equipment guests may need, including a sink, a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave oven, a toaster, a coffee maker, and basic cooking and cleaning utensils, as well as a breakfast bar. In the basement of the property's main building, you will have access to a professional grade gym.While in the Cabin, all the wooded area and the pond are for your exclusive use. Guests in the Main House are not granted access to the area. The Cabin is located about 100 feet off the main driveway.
