Located at Volunteer Landing Marina, our 1977 Whitcraft 50 Gold Coast Cruiser has all you need for a relaxing stay near everything that downtown Knoxville has to offer.
The salon has a queen sleeper sofa (will sleep two) and a smart TV. Dinette, eat-in bar and galley are adjacent to the salon. Galley includes full-size refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and stove. Interior cabin has two twin beds and is attached to a bathroom that includes a shower. The interior cockpit has a small sitting area and a TV with a Firestick. Forward cabin sleeps two (two separate beds) and has a half bathroom. Our boat comes stocked with dishes, cookware, eating utensils, coffee maker, toaster, bed linens and towels. You'll also be able to hang out and dine on the dock right next to the boat on the picnic table as you watch bikers and pedestrians enjoy the nearby James White Greenway. Or, sit outside on the aft deck in the mornings with your coffee, and in the evenings with your cocktails on the lighted deck. The stairs on the aft deck lead to the upper deck which has lounge chairs and a bench.
Knoxville Adventure Collective is located in the same parking lot, where you can go for kayak, SUP or bike excursions through one of their rental or guide programs. Directly behind the boat slip you'll see the James White Greenway, which can be accessed at the marina entrance. Depending on the day and time, you might even be lucky enough to see the Three Rivers Rambler antique steam engine tour train drive by on the tracks that run parallel to the greenway behind the boat!
Neyland Stadium approx. 0.75 mile walk via Greenway. Thompson-Boling Arena approx. 1 mile walk via Greenway. Calhoun's on the River approx. 0.5 mile walk via Greenway. Also a short walk to downtown Knoxville (including Gay Street, Market Square and the Old City), Convention Center, and World's Fair Park.
Marina has dock carts to help transport your belongings to and from the boat. Designated marina parking lot with 1 parking pass provided. Gated marina.
