Ryan and I are both retired and have been rented out rooms in our home for the past 9 years. It has been an enjoyable way for us to earn income and meet interesting people from around the world. I am British but have lived in The Bahamas for over 40 years and Ryan is Bahamian. Grand Bahama Island is just one of many islands in the archipelago, but we feel it is a good mix between the busy capital of Nassau and the quiet laid back vibe of a smaller family island.
Our garden has a variety of fruit trees including coconuts, bananas, mangoes, mulberries and others that you are welcome to eat when they are in season.
We offer transportation to and from the airport/harbour for a fee of $15 each way ( cheaper and more convenient than local taxis).
We also offer cooked breakfast for $8 per person on a pre-arranged basis
This room is on the 2nd floor, very spacious with own bathroom and ceiling fan. (Guests must pass through host living space and walk up 19 stairs to reach it)
