Everyone staying at the property can enjoy our private beach, WiFi, and live TV. Stay cool on even the hottest days with air conditioning or cuddle up with our propane, electric, or wood stoves. (Varies by site.) All guests are also welcome to enjoy our complementary kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes, or bring your own for hours of fun on Cayuga Lake. We provide all of the linens and bath towels you need for your stay, as well as paper products, soaps, etc. Restock on necessities in our guest services building, which also includes a complementary washer and dryer.
Our kitchens include microwaves, gas stovetops, gas oven, refrigerators/freezers, coffee makers, pots, pans, dishes and silverware. We clean almost exclusively with eco-friendly products. Pack-n-plays and high chairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Need more space? Our nearly 4 acre property with 400 feet of frontage along Cayuga Lake and a private beach also has the Spotted Sandpiper Lake House, the Overlook Lodge, 8 cabins and 2 yurts, and glamping accommodations. We are a family-friendly property and best suited for families who want a laid-back vacation in a very centrally located lakefront property. We host a lot of family and friend reunion groups --- please reach out if we can be of any assistance in planning your gathering!
The Spotted Sandpiper is located in the woods with frontage on Cayuga Lake and bugs love the woods and water! They're savvy at finding their ways indoors (these are cabins after all). If the bugs are ever "bugging" you, we're always happy to help.
Winter guests:Guests using the property in snowy/icy weather need 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles to come down our 1/2 mile private road. It's kept plowed, but these vehicles are needed for the elevation change.
