THE HOUSE: independent house on a plot of 600 m2, with south-facing garden and outdoor patio with barbecue. Recently updated, it has spacious rooms, current furniture and bathroom in all rooms. Surface of 240 m2.
The distribution is as follows; On the ground floor we have two 150 beds and two sofa beds, while on the upper floor there are two 150 beds and a 90 bed. There is also the possibility of adding two extra beds.
ENVIRONMENT: located at the gates of THE NATURAL PARK OF LAS DUNAS DE LIENCRES, with an area of 195 hectares, formed by numerous coves and two beaches of great beauty, a large extension of maritime pine forest, and the dune system. Valdearenas beach has an extensive stretch of golden sand, fine sand and dunes. It is very attractive for the visitor because of its rugged surroundings and offers excellent conditions for surfing.
This park is part of COSTA QUEBRADA, a stretch of coastline that serves at the same time as a geological setting and recreation of the senses, as it presents in an exceptional way the stroke in time of the eternal struggle between sea and land. Costa Quebrada brings together some of the most spectacular and wild beaches in Cantabria in just over 10 kilometers; Valdearenas Beach, Canallave, Somocuevas, Cerrías, Portio, Arnía, Covachos ... it is worth taking your time to discover this place of unusual beauty.
If, in addition to wanting to pose your towel and enjoy the sun and the beach you like to walk, very close to the Natural Park of the Dunes of Liencres you have a very nice small hiking trail to Mount La Picota. About 5 kilometers you can do in just under two hours to admire beautiful views over the meander that forms the Mogro estuary at its mouth to the sea. We recommend going late in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset.
LOCATION: very quiet area but at the same time well connected, being 500m from the A67 motorway and at the same distance from the suburban train station. Beaches at 3km, Santander at 12km, Santillana del Mar at 17km, Parque de Cabarceno at 18km, Comillas at 38km.
SERVICES: at 5km, in Santa Cruz de Bezana you will find all kinds of services, supermarkets, pharmacy, ATM, bazaar, hardware store, health center, coffee shops, restaurants .... once you are installed we will guide you about bars and restaurants in area.
CHILDREN: especially indicated for the smallest of the house because of the security it offers by being in an area with hardly any traffic and having a garden so you can be calm while playing.
SPORTS: hiking, cycling routes, water sports, kayaking, surfing, kitesurfing, paddle surfing, running, trekking, diving, golf and endless activities are at your disposal in the area. There is the possibility of doing them on your own or with a specialized school.
LEISURE AND NIGHTLIFE: some tapas? A nice dinner in a restaurant overlooking the sea?
The area has different restaurants, where you can taste from fish and shellfish from the Cantabrian, the famous rabas, anchovies and seafood rice to Italian, Mexican food, hamburgers and others. There are also several places at night where you can have a drink quietly.
And, if you want to prolong the party you can spend a fun night out in Santander, just 15 minutes by car.
