Positive: A beautiful multi-level deck right on the water. An attentive, friendly, helpful guest contact. Comfortable beds. Beautiful area with plenty of waterfalls. Waterfront property at this price is hard to come by. It was clear efforts had been made in the decor, even if it wasn't to my personal taste. Fans in every bedroom and several available outlets were appreciated. Everything was clean.

Negative: I probably would have given a higher score, but my fire-inspector-husband was very bothered by and finds it significant that there was an uncapped gas line, improper smoke detectors, and a shifting foundation. Personally, I would liked there to have been tissues, sugar, and enough coffee for two mornings. The water side of the house is lovely, but it is directly on the road with loud traffic going by. Important to note: the toilet is a camp toilet, the shower is tiny, and one of the bedrooms has an open wall directly to the kitchen and living area. Initial communication was frustrating with the rental company until they sent me the guest contact information. After that, communication was a breeze.
